Beauty Review: Guava Face Soap by Project Organic

June 27, 2016

Stores who promote a good cause always have a special place in my heart. Its nice to see that some stores offer their proceeds for a funding project.

Project Organic is an online organic beauty store on instagram that offers a selection of beauty products wrapped in cute boxes and packaging.

Their proceeds go to a scholarship fund. They sell these products to help out students who lack finances and resources to study and help out their parents as well by providing jobs. Aside from that, they wanted to put up a place called Prayer Haven. It's a retreat place we want to establish; a quiet and reserved area where people can worship God.

I am honored to be one of their bloggers who are given a chance to give a review about their products and I can't wait to share it with you.

 Guava Face Soap

Natural Ingredients: Lye, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Canola Oil, Guava (Pisdum Guavaja) Extract and Essential Oils.

My Thoughts:
  • It does smell like guava.
  • It's very gentle on the skin.
  • The soap itself is a bit small.
  • It doesn't melt even if its a bit submerged on water because of being placed on a soap dish.
  • The packaging is my favorite! Aside from it being classy, it sure looked like a lot of thought was put into making the person excited in receiving the package.
  • I loved its fruity smell.
  • I wish the color of the soap was different so it would be more pleasing aesthetically.
Will I buy it again:

Definitely! Aside from the act that the soap was effective, most of its proceeds are going to a scholarship fund. Who would want to pass on that opportunity? I know I won't!

There was a moisturizer that came along with the soap that I'll be blogging about soon!
