Summer Collection x Leiania House of Beauty

On my previous beauty reviews, you'll see Leiania House of Beauty countless times since they are one of my favorite local organic beauty brands. You'll see how much I'd gush about their handmade organic products and how much I really use them.

That's why I was so excited when they told me that they'll be sending me their Summer Collection to try.  So with that being said I'm back for more beauty review from my organic beauty babies. <3 

Hair We Grow Protein Treatment

Selling Price: 600 php (500 ml)

Active Ingredients: Virgin Coconut Oil, Fruitamins, Organic Coconut Butter, Coconut Milk, Passion Fruit Extract, Vitamin E, Avocado Oil

This protein treatment is equipped with Passion fruit and Cocomilk. Passion fruit is rich in Vitamin C which is a powerful antioxidant. This vitamin is involved in the creation of collagen, which prevents your hair from splitting and breaking. Restores dry and damaged hair with the help of cocomilk. This treatment that attach directly to the hair follicle and harden the cuticle layer. This places a barrier around the follicle, which protects it from further damage. Natural hair that has little to no damage would still benefit from a protein treatment at least once a month to keep up the hair’s natural strength and shine.

My Thoughts:

• The product smells so good! I felt like it's passion fruit and coconut milk scent gave me the instant smell of summer. 
• It has bits of small seeds in it so I had to make sure that I have thoroughly washed my hair. 
• I've used the product for more than 3 weeks and it really did soften my hair.

Will you buy it again? 

Well, I'd buy it again this summer season. <3  Since its treatment did soften my hair, made it look healthier and eliminated unnecessary oils. 

Watermelon Rush, Orange Blast and Apple Blast Scrubs

Apply an ample amount after washing and rinsing your face and body with soap, facial wash or body wash. A face and body scrub to keep your skin exfoliated while keeping your skin cool and hydrated this summer. Best used every other day. 

My Thoughts: 

• I love its watermelon-minty scent. 
• I used this products as to exfoliate my skin and it surely did its job. It definitely cooled my face as well as removed dirt on my face.
• I wish the product was inside a squeeze bottle to easily the desired amount for application.
• My favorite scent among the three is definitely the Apple Blast Scrub. 

Will I buy it again?

Yes! These scrubs can be a replacement for my previous drug store product that I usually use as an exfoliant. Plus points that these scrubs are much cheaper that the ones I usually buy without sacrificing its purpose. Hehe

TTT Wash Cooling and Hydrating Hair-Face-Body Wash

Price: 100 php (250 ml)

Active Ingredients: Aloe Vera, Moroccan Argan, Vitamin E, Menthol, Spearmint Fragrance

Offers a fresh and cool feeling with spearmint scent. Has aloe vera that is good for the skin and provides hydration that helps your skin to retain more moisture than before, for soft, supple and healthy skin.

No harmful ingredients.

My Thoughts:

• This was my most favorite product from the whole summer collection.
• Since the summer here in the Philippines is so hot and humid, the mint-cooling-effect of this 3 in 1 wash definitely helped alleviate that. 
• I suggest this to be used more as a body wash than for the hair and face.
• It has a big squeeze bottle that also works best for those summer outings. 

Will I buy it again? 

Next summer, yes! It definitely helped me feel fresh the whole summer but I don't think I'll be needing it this coming rainy season. 

Feeling Fresh Cooling and Hydrating Body Lotion with SPF 30

Price: 100 php (250 ml)

Active Ingredients: Shea Butter, Almond Milk, Vitamin E, Menthol, Spearmint Fragrance, Titanium Dioxide

Enriched with organic almond milk and shea butter that provides lasting hydration for up to 24 hours. Leaves skin feeling soft and smooth with feeling fresh in spearmint scent. Includes menthol for a cooling effect and to help soothe and relieve dry and itchy skin, while providing intense moisturization to help prevent dry skin throughout the day. Has SPF 30 that gives you protection from UV rays.

My Thoughts: 

• It had a minty feel that we all love during the summer time.
• It was a bit difficult to manage or apply because if I accidentally applied more than a pea size amount on my skin, it will leave my skin with too much cooling effect. (A cooling effect similar to Vick's Vapor Rub)
• I love its convenient and easy squeeze bottle.
• It had a thick consistency so I had to make sure I was putting the right amount to avoid it being sticky on my skin.

Will I buy it again?

I don't think I will. This product might work for others but not for me. It was a bit too minty for me. :(
