I think that I've confessed countless times that one of the skincare products that I'm not very fond of is sunscreen. I know that I've mentioned a couple of sunscreens or sunblocks that I've tried here and there but I don't think I've fallen in love with them as much as I've learned to love this one.
*What Blanche? You live in a tropical country and yet you don't like use... sunscreen?*
I can see judgement in your eyes as you're reading this blog but don't worry, in this blog post I'm going to introduce a product which changed the whole game for me. *wink wink*

Ultra lightweight, this invisible sunscreen is formulated with a moisturizing formula that plumps the skin and Damask rose extracts, ensuring that your complexion stays fresh and hydrated throughout the day without any streakiness or a white cast. It has an SPF of 50+ and PA++++, so your skin'll be kept protected all day.
My Thoughts:
- Upon opening the bottle, you can sure smell the petal-like scent which I loved most about Althea Exclusive products.
- There's a water-y consistency at first but upon further lather on the skin, it turns into a lightweight-velvet-matte texture that's almost powder-like... making it so easy to get used to.
- There's a non-chemical UV filter on the surface of the skin and scatters UV light protecting the most sensitive skin types. Cool, right?
- A hydrating formula was put into the product making it perfect as a makeup base for it also controls the excessive sebum on the skin.
- Petal Velvet Sunaway contains Damask Rose extracts to moisturize and smoothen the skin. I've just recently found out that Damask Rose has rich in vitamins to penetrate deep into the skin, soothing sensitivities and strengthening it for a radiant glow.
I'll let you into a little tip... Remember the Althea Velvet Powder I've previously blogged about? It works perfectly with that too! I use the Velvet Sunaway Sunscreen as my makeup base, apply my liquid foundation on and tap a little bit of Althea Velvet Powder (Warm Beige) to bake my under eyes and I'm almost all set for the day!
Will I buy it again?
Absolutely! I'm actually almost out and I'm about to buy a new one as a birthday gift to myself. ;)
